UKSC Update‏!!

We letting all songwriters who have taken part in The UK Songwriting Contest over the past two years to remind you that the 2015 contest is now open for entries and to tell you about some new prizes. Full details are on the contest website at

Multi platinum songwriter and UKSC judge Shelly Peiken will mentor and critique one lucky entrant this year in a personal one-on-one Skype video session (or, if you prefer, a voice only telephone session). Shelly is a hugely successful songwriter who has written number one hits for Christina Aguilera and has had her songs recorded by Meat Loaf, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Ronan Keating, Backstreet Boys, Cher, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, NSYNC and many others. She has also had hundreds of songs placed on albums and in TV and films.

This year one entrant will be offered the opportunity to work with and be mentored by the legendary british producer Stuart Epps and be part of the Epps Music Productions stable of songwriters and artists. Stuart has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Elton John, Oasis and Robbie Williams.

Other prizes include Mozart Music Software, musical instruments, music organization memberships, song copyright registrations and much more. Everyone who enters receives something and is awarded a UKSC Certificate detailing their achievements and position in the event, and everyone is told the exact judges score for each song entered. Judges scores for each song entered will be announced at the end of the contest and your UKSC Certificates will be available at that time. See the official website for full details at
