Maia Festival of Arts, Delabole, Cornwall UK (Saturday, February 2nd 2013)

The Cornish Guardian report forgot to acknowledge some very important people who gave their time, talents, money and general support, without which this event couldn’t have happened.

So many many thanks to: Daniel ‘dj-k’ Kobale of Alive Music Studios, and his team, for providing all the sound equipment and his expertise, The Darlington Inn for providing the bar and for Rodney’s very generous donation, and Sam who did a fantastic job of running the bar all day. Nathan Galley and Mark Postins of Twisted Passion and YouthWorks!, who, along with John Thorpe, put alot of time into creating a unique set for us, as well as doing a fantastic DJ workshop in the afternoon. Jay Parsons, for his funky DJ sets and drumming workshop. Rachael Spencer for her Dance workshops and, along with Merissa, Popstarz disco. David Richey for his most excellent compering and, along with Rachael Richey, Francesca Richey, Christian Fitzpatrick, Simon Swale, Marcus Galley and Ian Shooter, for giving up their whole weekend to help. Susan Shooter, Vicky Bergman, Allan Woollard and many others for their help on the day. Alice in Burgerland and Charlie’s Deli for their top munchies. The long list of musicians and entertainers who all performed for us throughout the day – all for free!!!

If I’ve missed anyone out I’m truly sorry Sweet Kiss

Thank you all so much for making it a fantastic day for everyone xxxxxxx

Here’s looking forward to the next one on May 4th – anyone interested in getting involved in any way let me know

Cheers, Emma Lynch
