Alive Music went for a day out to support the Over The Hill Music Festival 2012

We were told about the Over The Hill Music Festival by the Badland Bandits, who told us they were performing on the Sunday, so as it was my day off, me a OD decided to toddle on down to see what it was all about.

We arrived around just after 2pm in the afternoon, although the stage music had opened around 10am, this was a little too early for us. Any we eventually found the Perran Quay Touring Park, where the event is held each year, which I might say is a very nice holiday park to stay at if you are down on holiday in Cornwall.

Me and OD had a great time on Sunday 2nd September and met lots of wonderful people! There were great performances from October, Tom Cary, Jack Wallen, Fallen Skye, Hold The Sun, Badland Bandits, Kernuyck and good show to everyone else we did not get chance to see. I will certainly be attending the Over The Hill Music Festival on the Sunday next year 2013 as well, maybe even doing the camping thing 🙂

I would like to give a BIG thank you to Jack Pot the potato snack bar, The Pirates Kitchen and the donut bar for serving great food and snacks, I had multiple helpings the food was so good.

The stage was managed by John Cornfield, producer from the famous Sawmills Recording Studios and the PA system by Impact Sound, along with Martin from Mass Effect stage lighting supply. Spectacular if I might say so, I enjoyed it so much and recommend you all get yourselves down to this music festival. This is one you do not want to miss out on, plus you can camp out on the holiday camp and party on through the night, just make it one big party weekender.
