2015 SESSION ONE DEADLINE 30 JUNE
The deadline for entering songs in the first session of the UKSC 2015 is 30 June. After that date all songs entered will go into the second session. So if you are planning to enter songs and you would like to have early results (Semi Finalist positions from session one will be announced at the end of July) you need to enter them on or before 30 June.Last year many semi finalists from the first session had excellent early media coverage that continued all through the second session until the end of the contest. (Search Google for some of these stories). This provided good publicity for songs and writers with the press and other media watching out to see if these songs and writers eventually made it to the finals or became winners. If you want maximum exposure for your work this is a good way to get it because if you make the semis you can post on Facebook and Twitter etc that your song is in the Semi Finals and has a chance to win one of the major prizes such as working with producer Stuart Epps (see below).

THE STUART EPPS PRIZE
As part of the Grand Prize package in 2015 top british producer Stuart Epps has agreed to work with the winner as part of the Epps Music Productions stable of songwriters and artists. Stuart has worked with Elton John, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, Robbie Williams and many more and this is a unique opportunity to work closely with, and maybe even co-write a song with, one of the top names in the music business!

THE MOZART AWARDS AND OTHER PRIZES
Three entrants will be selected for a special Mozart Award in 2015 in recognition of their songwriting skills. These songwriters will be promoted as some of the most talented in the contest and they will also receive courtesy copies of the popular and excellent Mozart 12 music software. Other prizes include international copyright registrations with the SCO, memberships of the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers, memberships of Broadjam, musical instruments (details to be announced soon) and more. In addition all winners will be featured on the Best Of UKSC promotional album which is sent to our industry contacts each year. This is a popular album within the music business and it has led to many radio and major TV appearances, playlistings, international press coverage, deals and contracts, co writing partnerships and singles releases for the UKSC entrants who have appeared on it.
