Ded on delivery wins at Wadebridge

ST AUSTELL band Dedhed has beaten stiff competition to win the Alive Music Battle of the Bands 2010 at Wadebridge. The Bridge On Wool hosted 17 nights of entertainment over seven months and saw 36 entries narrowed down to just four.[break]

[break]Messenger, Beryllium, The Gobots and Dedhed had all played twice before in their respective heats and semi-finals, fighting off some extremely talented bands and artists to progress to the final.[break]

[break]It was Dedhed who took the title and first prize of £500 cash and a week’s recording session at Alive Music studios with Beryllium coming close runners-up.[break]

[break]Owner of Alive Music Dan Kobale said: “‘I would like to thank all the artists and everyone who has been involved in the Battle of the Bands, and also the members of local community for their support over the last few months.[break]
